RADIO SPOT FOR HAGAN AD

ANNOUNCER:           When Kay Hagan asked for our vote to elect her to the US Senate, she promised she would never support a bill in Congress mandating collective bargaining for government employees in North Carolina.

HAGAN:                     “Once I'm elected to the U.S. Senate, I want you to note that I will never support a bill at the federal level that mandates states allow collective bargaining of state government employees. I truly believe that's a state's rights issue. That’s my strong belief, and that’s how I will vote.”

ANNOUNCER:           Now, Senator Hagan is under intense pressure from national labor unions and Washington lobbyists to break her promise. They want her to use a tricky Senate rule called “cloture” to force collective bargaining on us. Senator Hagan knows a vote for “cloture” is a vote for the collective bargaining bill. And so do we.

HAGAN:                     I will never support a bill at the federal level that mandates states allow collective bargaining of state government employees.

ANNOUNCER:           Senator Hagan: Keep the campaign promise you made to the people of North Carolina.

ANNOUNCER:           Paid for by the Coalition for North Carolina Jobs.
